Early Intervention Department
Students from age 3½
- 12, with autism, Down syndrome, Adhd, Add, speech, language, cognitive
and other developmental delays are grouped according to age and ability.
Each student follows an I.E.P. and takes pottery, P.E. and swimming. The
focus of those classes comprised of:
- young preschool-age children is on developing attention, listening,
social, communication, and fine-motor skills.
- children with Down syndrome is on developing reading, writing, math,
communication, social, and self-help skills.
- students with increased behaviour and attention issues is on developing
better attention and behaviour through Behavior Modification and Sensory
Integration Programs.
