Education Department

The emphasis of classes in this department is mainly on developing reading, writing, speech, attention, and cognitive skills to a level where students have a possibility of succeeding at an academic KG2 level. Each student follows an I.E.P. Classes include:

- students with hearing impairments - specialized teachers teach students communication, social, behavior, reading and writing skills using a universal Sign Language Program.

- students with physical disabilities - class teachers work very closely with occupational, physio, and speech therapists to develop fine motor, gross motor and speech skills; students exit more often for special services.

- students with other developmental delays - class teachers develop Behavior Modification Programs for students with Adhd, Add, and autism.
