Ideal Education School Evening Program

The Canadian Rehabilitation Evening Group for children with special needs is a recreational program at Ideal Education School for the general public. It runs daily from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The goal is to provide special services for those children who require rehabilitation through a "holistic approach". The evening club provides life skills to boys and girls between the ages of 4 to 21. Cognitive skills are developed through fun and recreation. The children learn prevocational and vocation skills. They enjoy computer programs, music, arts and crafts, swimming, and cooking. They learn social skills and community awareness by going out on field trips. Those children who require other support services can also have individual sessions with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and a teacher of Makaton (an augmented language communication system). The children in the evening program are always under the close supervision and guidance of a qualified and well-experienced staff. Ideal Education School is striving to provide the best quality care to children of all ages with special needs.
